In November, the epidemic in all provinces of Canada has been greatly relieved. Among the population eligible for vaccination in Ontario, 88% have already received at least one shot, and 85% of the population over 12 years old have been fully vaccinated. The complete vaccination rate of Ontario’s total population is 77%.
With the launch of the vaccine passport, Ontario has also further reopened up: starting at 12:01 am on October 25th, Ontario restaurants and gyms will be allowed to fully open without restrictions on the number of people.
After comprehensively inspection of the epidemic trend, and careful discussion, Cestar decided that the campus and offline courses will be reopened gradually.
If you want to know the specific courses and subjects for resuming offline teaching, you can contact your teachers for more information. Be aware that you currently need to show proof of full vaccination to enter the Cestar campus.
“Fully vaccinated” means having received the full series of a COVID- 19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series); and having received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to campus access.
At present, Cestar High School has launched a Campus Access Screening App. Everybody must scan the QR code and use this application to prove the vaccination status before entering the campus.
While Cestar is opening up the campus and resuming offline courses gradually, Cestar will continue to retain online courses so that students who cannot return to campus can continue to take classes at home.
As a responsible school, Cestar High School guarantees the quality of teaching while ensuring the health and safety of teachers and students. After the baptism of the epidemic, Cestar High School will become better in the future!
