Admission Procedure At Cestar High School

The admission procedure for Cestar International High School Toronto is designed to be simple, straight forward, and accessible.

Application processes for other private international high schools in Toronto can be long, complicated, and confusing for both domestic and international students. Without effective guidance and a comprehensive understanding of the Ontario school system, applicants can quickly become lost in the details.

Cestar High School aims to cut through all the confusion by making our admission procedure comprehensive but easy to understand. The main elements of the admission application include:

Photocopy of applicant’s Photo ID

A valid piece of photo identification is required to verify the applicant’s identity. Any government issued piece of ID is acceptable, such as a driver’s license, passport, photo ID card, or healthcare card. The photocopy needs to be high quality and clear, with no smudging or visual distortions.

The Admission Application Form

The Admission Application Form is a comprehensive document that allows Cestar High School to learn everything they need to about the potential student. This is a straightforward, four page document, that must be filled out in English.

The Application Fee

Unlike some other international high schools in Toronto, which can cost thousands of dollars just to submit an application, the application fee for Cestar High School is a flat $100CAD. This is to be paid when submitting the application via cheque or bank transfer.

Academic Transcript

An academic transcript from the last three years of study is required for the application. This is to include both the original transcript and a certified English translation when applicable, along with an official school seal. This allows us to determine the potential student’s previous knowledge and academic skills before entering the student cohort.

Proof of Study Statement

The final documentation required is a proof of study statement. This document should show the number of years the student has attended school and their grades in each subject. This allows Cestar High School to place them in the correct classes based on their aptitude and previous experience.
